354 <br />Resolution formally declaring the Intent of the district at the <br />earliest possible date, as the financing of this project is contingent <br />on the formation of the district. City Manager Elliott recommended <br />that the Council adjourn to Thursday, July 7, 1983 to consider this <br />matter. <br />Mayor Huntoon and Councilwoman Garcia indicated they would not be <br />available, however, both Council Members concurred with the Manager's <br />recommendation. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, <br />unanimously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 8:17 p.m., <br />to meet for an Adjourned Regular Meeting on Thursday, July 7, 1983, <br />at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. <br />HELEN A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk of the City of <br />Colton <br />Approved this 19th day of July, 1983. <br />ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />July 7, 1983 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 5:30 P. m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, Mayor Pro Tem Cisneros presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Rehrer, and Mayor Pro Tem <br />Cisneros. Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attor- <br />ney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilwoman <br />Garcia and Mayor Huntoon. <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Special Assessments <br />Assessment District No. 79-1 <br />Director of Community Services Joe McGee reported that the City of <br />Rialto has adopted their resolution granting consent to construct <br />improvements relating to Assessment District No. 79-1, and it would <br />now be in order for our City Council to consider and approve Resolu- <br />tion No. 4351, ordering the construction of these improvements. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve <br />Resolution No. 4351. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4351 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL DECLARING IN- <br />TENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS, TOGETHER WITH APPURTENANCES AND <br />AND APPURTENANT WORK IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br />IN A PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PURSUANT TO <br />THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF THE "MUNICIPAL IM- <br />PROVEMENT ACT OF 1913"; DECLARING THE WORK TO <br />BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY BENEFIT AND <br />DESCRIBING THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY <br />THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS. <br />JUL 7 LQ83 <br />
