CITY OF COLTON <br />COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 7, 2004 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, a Special Meeting was held on the above <br />given date at 4:05 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Tempore Hernandez <br />presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Zamora, Mitchell, Ramos, Mayor Pro Tempore Hernandez. <br />Mayor Bennett arrived at 4:06 p.m. and CM Chastain, De La Rosa absent. <br />Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the following <br />matters: <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />the following items: <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL— EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />Name of Case: Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton v. Colton Non -Profit Senior <br />Housing, et al. <br />Case Number: San Bernardino, Superior Court Case No. SCVSS 114148 <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 <br />Name of Case: City of Colton, et al. v. Steward, etc, et al <br />Case Number: Orange County Superior Court Case # 02CC12345 <br />City Attorney Derleth adjourned the meeting to Closed Session to the Police Department <br />Conference Room at 4:06 p.m. and at 6:13 p.m.; the meeting reconvened with all members <br />present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet in Closed Session and discussed Items <br />A and B. <br />A.
