l ORDINANCE NO, 1083 <br />ij <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO,, 412 <br />The City Council of the City of Colton does ordain as follows; <br />Section 1. That a new section be added to Ordinance No. 412 to be <br />5' <br />'i <br />numbered Section 104G. <br />6 <br />Section 104G. For Collection and Disposal of Rubbish Every person <br />7 i'i' <br />firm or corporation shall obtain and pay for a license as required by Ordinance <br />11 No. 1009. The fee for such license shall be One Hundred Dollars ($100,.00) <br />0 per year per -vehicle used in the business, for such collection; Provided, how- <br />11 ever, that no License as herein provided for the collection and disposal of 1 <br />a <br />r <br />rubbish shall be issued without prior Council approval. All applications for a <br />12 <br />1-^'! license to operate such collection and disposal service received by the City <br />' <br />1�1 Clerk shall forthwith be referred to the City Council for such action. <br />15+ <br />The City Clerk shall give notice to the applicant of the time of such i <br />presentation at least five days prior to the time when such application will be <br />16 <br />I <br />heard. <br />17 <br />�) 1 <br />18� The City Council shall, by motion, duly pass, approve or deny said <br />19 �i application. <br />20 !; Section 2. The person, firm or corporation in securing such license <br />21 i shall agree to maintain and operate its equipment in a safe and sanitary manner <br />22 ! satisfactory to the Director of Public Works. Said permits and license are <br />f' <br />23 1I issued on the condition that said person, firm or corporation shall be fully <br />!! <br />24 responsible for all such operations, such responsibility to be evidenced by the <br />25 j <br />filing with the City of Colton of a cash bond or surety bond in the amount of <br />$1000. 00 for the duration of the license. <br />26 i <br />27 Section 3, That it is necessary that this Ordinance shall take effect I <br />i� <br />2811 immediately in order to coincide with the requirement of Ordinance No. 1009 <br />I <br />29 and it is hereby ordained that said Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />i <br />30 ii upon its passage and approval by the City Council of the City of Colton.. <br />ii <br />-�1 <br />32 <br />
