5 ORDINANCE NO, 1084 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTA�N UNINHABITED TERRITORY,, DESIGNATED "WEST COLTON ANNEXATION NO, 15" TO THE CITY OF COLTON. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: WHEREAS, on the 6th day of December, 1960, the Council of the City of 1 Colton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2118 giving notice of the proposal to 6 ; ;annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Colton, said territory being `therein designated as "West Colton Annexation No. 1511, said Resolution de scrib-- 1 8 ij ;ling the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and ' WHEREAS, said Resolution No, 2118 did contain a notice of the day, hour 10 ;'and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests made by 1 a it ;!any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the 1211 ii time of said hearing being not less than forty nor more than sixty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and i4 ii WHEREAS, on the 17th day of January, 1961, at the hour of 7:30, in the 1_ 5 .. +'Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino �6 it !;State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in +7' I i L8 i 19 i 20 211 22 231 ; i 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 said Resolution No. 2118 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the (value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Colton, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; NOW,. THEREFORE,, the said Council of the City of Colton does hereby lapprove the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of Colton, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby annexed LO the City of Colton.
