That the amount necessary to be raised by taxation upon <br />taxable property in the City of Colton as a revenue to carry on the various <br />departments of the City of Colton for the current year 1963-1964 and to pay the <br />bonded indebtedness of said City and the expense of collection is $228,633. 00. <br />SECTION 2. This Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediately upon its <br />adoption and publication. <br />The facts constituting the urgency thereof are as follows: <br />This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the general laws of the State of <br />California for levying municipal taxes to provide for the maintenance of the <br />various governmental functions of the City of Colton including police protection, <br />regulations and other functions which preserve the public health and <br />health regu P <br />safety in the City of Colton. <br />PASSEDI.
