1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />11 17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />,28 <br />-29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />AN ORDINANCE APIPROVING THE ANNRXAT10N <br />OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORYo <br />DESIGNATED, "LAST COLTON ANNEXAT10N <br />NO* 2211 TO THE CITY OF COLTONP <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL� OY THE, CITY OF COLTON: <br />WHEREAS* on the 18th day of August, 1964p the Council of the:City Of <br />Colton did pass and adopt Resolution No.,,2491 giving notice of the propo sal <br />to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of, Colton,,, said territory <br />being therein -designated as "East Colton Annexation Noo ZZ" said Resolution <br />describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and <br />WHEREAS, said Resolution No., 2491 did contain a notice of day, <br />hour and place when and where :the Council of the ,City would hear protests <br />made by any person owning real property within the territory proposedto be <br />annexed,,, the time ofsaid hearing being not less than forty nor more than <br />sixty days .from the date, of passage of said Resolution,*, and <br />,"WHEREAS,, on the 6th day of- Octoberk, 1964 at the hour of 7.30 p.m,, <br />in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located at 650 North Eighth <br />Street in the City ofColton,., County of San Bernardino, State of California, <br />said time and place being the day, hour and place >fixed in said Resolution <br />No. .2491 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said, -City Council <br />did hear and pass -upon all protests made to the pr_,dptrse_d aoneicdtibn and did <br />determine that protests had not been made by theowners of one-half of the <br />value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by <br />the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the <br />value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined <br />by said legislative, bodw-'anon. <br />WHEREAS$, said territory is contiguousto the City of Colton and is <br />uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; <br />N'OWO THEREFORE,,. the said Council of the City of Colton does here- <br />by approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to,,the City <br />of Colton and does hereby /further ordain that the said territory be and is <br />hereby annexed to the City of Colton, <br />
