ORDINANCE NO. 1379 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, ORDERING, CALLING, <br />PROVIDING FOR AND GIVING NOTICE <br />OF A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD <br />IN SAID CITY ON FEBRUARY 2, 19715 <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO <br />THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY <br />A PROPOSITION TO INCUR BONDED <br />INDEBTEDNESS BY SAID CITY FOR A <br />CERTAIN MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT. <br />WHEREAS, at a meeting held December 1. 1970, the <br />City Council of the City of Colton, by no less than a two- <br />thirds vote of members thereof,, adopted a resolution deter- <br />mining that the public interest and necessity demand the <br />acquisition and construction of a certain municipal improve- <br />ment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of <br />Colton., California, DOES ORDAIN now as follows: <br />Section 1. A special election is called to be <br />held in said City of February 2, 1971, for the purpose of <br />submitting to the qualified voters of said City the propo- <br />sition of incurring bonded indebtedness in the principal <br />amount and for the purpose stated in the ballot proposition <br />set forth in Section 5 below. <br />Section 2. The estimated cost of the municipal <br />improvement described in the ballot proposition is the <br />sum of $1,210,000, including legal and other fees, costs, <br />and expenses incidental to or connected with the authori- <br />zation, printing., issuance and sale of the bonds. <br />
