The first paragraph of Section 9 of Ordinance 1231, <br />and Section 3.08.090 of the Colton Municipal Code, are hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br />'FORMAL'CONTRACT PROCEDURE - GENERALLY. Purchasing of supplies, <br />services and equipment _of -estimated value greater than ten thousand dollars <br />($10,000.00) shall be by written contract with the lowest and best bidder <br />pursuant to the procedures and requirements prescribed in Sections 3.08.100 <br />through 3.08.250. <br />SECTION 2. The first paragraph of Section 10 or Ordinance No. 1080 <br />and Section 3.08.260 of the Colton Municipal Code, are hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br />OPEN MARKET PURCHASES - PROCEDURE GENERALLY. Purchases of supplies, <br />equipment, contractual services and sales of personal property of an <br />estimated value in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000:00) or less <br />may be made by the purchasing agent in the}open market without observing <br />the procedure prescribed by Sections 3.08.090 through 3.08.250. <br />SECTION 3. That Ordinance No. 1365 and Ordinance No. 1502 are <br />hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 4.
