WHEREAS the State of California under Chapter 29, <br />Statutes of 1946 (1st Extra Session), as amended, has <br />appropriated funds for allocation by the Director of Finance to <br />local housing authority or district of the State for the,purpose <br />of acquiring and establishing temporary and emergency housing <br />facilities for veterans and their families and families of <br />servicemen to the.extent that federal aid is not available, and, <br />2. WHEREAS, the City of Colton, a municipal corporation, <br />hereinafter designated as "Local Agency" has heretofore entered <br />into an agreement with the National Housing Administrator for the <br />purpose of making available to the said local agency certain <br />housing facilities and 'said -Local Agency has filed an application <br />with the Director of Finance under said Act requesting an allocati4 <br />of the state's share of the estimated non-federal cost of making <br />said temporary housing facilities ready for occupancy and the <br />said application prior to same being filed with the Director of <br />Finance having been approved by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton: <br />3. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON that the City Treasurer be and he is hereby authori2 <br />to pay 10% of the estimated non-federal cost of said housing <br />facilities, to -wit: the sum of $673.51 from the general fund <br />of the City of Colton. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS l9th day of May, 1947. <br />A.
