1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3745 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING <br />NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br />ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, <br />THE 7TH DAY OF MARCH. 1978, FOR THE ELECTION <br />OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID CITY AS REQUIRED <br />BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES. <br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General <br />Law Cities in the State of California, a regular general municipal election <br />shall be held on the 7th day of March, 1978, for the election of a Mayor of <br />said City for the full term of two years, and two members of the City Council <br />of said City for the full term of four years; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALI- <br />FORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the <br />State of California relating to General Law Cities within said State, there shall <br />be, and there is hereby called and ordered, held in the City of Colton, County <br />of San Bernardino, State of California, on Tuesday, the 7th day of March, 1978, <br />a regular general municipal election of the qualified electors of said City for <br />the purpose of electing a Mayor of said City for the full term of two years, and <br />two members of the City Council of said City for the full term of four years. <br />SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used at said election shall be. <br />both as to form and matter contained therein, such as may be required by law to <br />be used thereat. <br />SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized <br />instructed and directed to procure and furnish any and all official ballots, <br />notices, printed matter and all supplies, equipment and paraphernalia that may <br />be necessary in order to properly and lawfully conduct said election. <br />SECTION 4. That the polls for said election shall be open at <br />seven o'clock A. M. of the day of said election and shall remain open continuous <br />
