1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />RE <br />M <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3746 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON REQUESTING THE BOARD OF <br />SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO <br />TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID <br />COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, RELATING TO TETE CONDUCT OF <br />A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IPJ <br />SAID CITY ON MARCH 75 1975. <br />WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election is to be held in the City <br />of Colton on March 7, 1978; and <br />WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in rela- <br />tion thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling place in- <br />serts to the registered voters of the City, and it will facilitate such mailing! <br />if the Registrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino will prepare and <br />furnish the City the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered <br />voters of said City on I.B.M. polling place inserts furnished by the City, and <br />after bursting the forms will insert the polling place insert and sample ballot <br />into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City, will place all envelopes in <br />zip -coded mail bags, advise City Clerk of the number of pieces to be mailed, <br />prepare POD Form 3602, "Statement of Mailing Matter With Permit- Imprints", and <br />advise the City Clerk when work is complete so delivery can be arranged; and <br />WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall <br />be paid by the City of Colton; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does here- <br />by RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: <br />SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of <br />the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby re - <br />guests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the Registrar of <br />Voters to prepare and furnish to said City for use in conducting said election <br />to be held on March 7, 1975, the imprinting of the names and addresses of the <br />registered voters of said City on I.B.,". polling place inserts furnished by the <br />
