7 93 9 14 13 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 i 19 1 2(i 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 3789 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING -THE ABAN- DONMENT OF A PORTION OF ORANGE SHOW ROAD NORTH OF FAIRWAY DRIVE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton having elect- ed to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidences submitted that the portion hof Orange Show Road, being that portion of Lot 9, Block 54, Rancho San Bernardi as recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 2, Official Records of San Bernardino County described as follows: That portion of Lot 9, Block 5 , Rancho San Bernardino, as per plat thereof recorded in Bok 7 of Maps, Page 2, Records of the CountyRecorder of San Eernardino County, State of California, lying 40.00 feet or each side of the following described center line: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot 9; thence Westerly along the North line of said Lot 9 to a point in a line which is parallel with and 160.00 feet West of and measured at right angles to the East line of said Lot 9, being the True Point of Beginning; thence South along said parallel line to a point in the North line of Fairway Drive (formerly Colton Avenue) as shown in Records of Survey Book 4, Page 12, Records of said County, as F Street, being the Point of Termination. The side lines of said easement shall be lengthened or shortened so as to begin in the North line of said Lot 9 and to terminate i,n the North line of said Fairway Drive. is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes and the public interest and convenience requires the closing of said street. SECTION 2. Accordingly, the City Council of the City of Colton hereby orders the vacation of the hereinbefore described street.
