The City Council of the City of Colton having elect- <br />ed to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of the Streets and <br />Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as <br />provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidences submitted that the portion <br />hof Orange Show Road, being that portion of Lot 9, Block 54, Rancho San Bernardi <br />as recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 2, Official Records of San Bernardino County <br />described as follows: <br />That portion of Lot 9, Block 5 , Rancho San Bernardino, as <br />per plat thereof recorded in Bok 7 of Maps, Page 2, Records <br />of the CountyRecorder of San Eernardino County, State of <br />California, lying 40.00 feet or each side of the following <br />described center line: <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot 9; thence <br />Westerly along the North line of said Lot 9 to a point in <br />a line which is parallel with and 160.00 feet West of and <br />measured at right angles to the East line of said Lot 9, <br />being the True Point of Beginning; thence South along said <br />parallel line to a point in the North line of Fairway Drive <br />(formerly Colton Avenue) as shown in Records of Survey <br />Book 4, Page 12, Records of said County, as F Street, being <br />the Point of Termination. <br />The side lines of said easement shall be lengthened or <br />shortened so as to begin in the North line of said Lot 9 <br />and to terminate i,n the North line of said Fairway Drive. <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes and the public <br />interest and convenience requires the closing of said street. <br />SECTION 2. Accordingly, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />hereby orders the vacation of the hereinbefore described street. <br />
