RESOLUTION NO. 3850 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />3 OF COLTON FIXING THE AMOUNT NECESSARY TO BE <br />RAISED BY TAXATION TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS <br />4 DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF COLTON FOR THE <br />1978-79 FISCAL YEAR. <br />5i <br />6BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON THAT: <br />� <br />7 The amount necessary to be raised by taxation of property in the <br />8 jCity of Colton as a revenue to carry on the operations of the City for the <br />g1 1978-79 fiscal year and to pay a portion of the bonded indebtedness of the City <br />s <br />10 and the expense of collection is $411,659. <br />` BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: <br />11 <br />This resolution relates totaxes for the usual and current ex - <br />121 <br />13 penses of the City and that this resolution is adopted pursuant to the general <br />laws of the State of California for levying municipal taxes to provide for the <br />14 <br />(maintenance of the various governmental functions of the City of Colton including <br />15 <br />;police protection, fire protection, health regulations, and other functions which <br />3.6 <br />preserve the public health and safety in the City of Colton. <br />17 <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this :5th day of September,,1978. <br />1� <br />f <br />20 FRANK G' Z S <br />21 ATTEST: <br />Ma <br />22 <br />23 1 HELEN A.
