2 31 1 51 7 8 91 101 12 13 14 15 16 17. 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 3883 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF "B" STREET EAST OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of.the Streets and High- ways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as pro- vided therein, hereby finds from all the evidences submitted that the certain iportion of "B" Street east of Pennsylvania Avenue, described as follows: All that portion of "B" Street being 80 feet in width and lying easterly of the north prolongation of the east right-of-way line of that alley . as shown in the Burns Tract, a resubdivision of Block 32, as recorded in Book 18 of Maps, Page 11, Records of said County to the west right-of-way line of the A.T. & S.F. Rail— Road. is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes and the public interest and convenience requires the closing of said street. SECTION 2. Accordingly, the City Council of the City of Colton hereby orders the vacation of the hereinbefore described street.subject to reser- vations and exceptions. The public convenience and necessity require the reservations and exceptions of easements and rights of way for structures enumerated in Section X8330 of the Streets and Highways Code, and all proceedings taken herein are ex- �pressly subject to such reservations and exceptions for and on behalf of the City.
