R-117-04 <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION R-97-98 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />CONSIDER MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR MEMBERS OF THE COLTON <br />FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION AND THE CITY OF COLTON <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has given full consideration to the result of meetings between <br />representatives of the City of Colton and representatives of the Colton Firefighters Association held <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 3500 et. Seq.; and <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Firefighters Association has reviewed and signed approval of the <br />attached Consolidated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the MOU, marked Exhibit "A" and attached <br />hereto, is incorporated into and made a part hereof and adopted hereby; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the provisions provided herein shall be effective as of <br />July 1, 2004, contingent upon signature of the City's representative; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes staff to sign said MOU. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of October, 2004. <br />)0 �IA <br />4 " 'a - �&� g6� <br />DEIRDRE H.
