R-139-04 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS COMMENCING JULY 11 2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005 WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years commencing July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on June 28, 2004; and WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2004/05 Fiscal Year Budget, adjusting the Salary and Benefits accounts in the Police Department. These changes are needed to cover the cost of salary and benefit increases negotiated by the Colton Police Officers Association (CPOA). The total cost to implement the above-mentioned changes for the City, in fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 is $86,298 in the following accounts: 100-6070-6071-1010 $2,280, 100-6070- 6071-1100 $847, 100-6070-6072-1105 $522: 100-6070-6072-1010 $41,577, 100- 6070-6072-1100 $15,444: 100-6070-6073-1010 $17,737, 100-6070-6073-1100 $6,588: 100-6070-6074-1010 $9,159, 100-6070-6074-1100 $3,402. An increase of $1,411 in accounts 220-6070-6089-1010 $1,130 and 220-6070-6089-1100 $281 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF DECEMBER 2004. ATTEST: f CAROLINA P.
