1 RESOLUTION NO. R-143-04 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />3 COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005. <br />4 <br />5 WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commending July <br />6 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on June 28, 2004 and <br />7 WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />8 <br />the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />9 <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />10 <br />11 be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be <br />12 by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />13 NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />14 <br />15 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes entering into the State of California Agreement GPRE-4289 <br />16 providing for a cost of living increase to the State's Department of Education State <br />Pre -School Grant in the amount of $3,636. <br />17 <br />18 SECTION 2: Authorize the City Manager to sign the applicable documents. <br />19 SECTION 3: It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2004/2005 Fiscal Year <br />Early Childhood Education Pre -School Budget by $3,636, increasing the Revenue <br />20 Account 206-5776 by $3,636, and increasing Expenditure Accounts by the <br />21 corresponding amount of $3,636, with the following distribution. <br />Increase Supplies/Equip. Expenditure Account 206-7200-7203-2301 by <br />22 $1,000 <br />Increase Nutrition Expenditure Account 206-7200-7203-2305 by $1,000 <br />23 Increase Material/Supplies Expenditure Account 206-7200-7203-2304 by <br />$1,636. <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />
