R-25-05 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AUTHORIZING THE <br />SUBMITTAL OF THREE APPLICATIONS FOR THE `CITY MAKEOVER PROGRAM' <br />REQUESTING $245,000 IN GRANT FUNDING. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); <br />WHEREAS, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is accepting <br />applications for its `City Makeover Program;' and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to providing <br />beautification improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO <br />HEREBY RESOLVE that three applications for the `City Makeover Program,' be <br />submitted requesting $245,000 in funding for which the City will provide staff costs <br />of twenty five percent of each project application <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th DAY OF MARCH 2005. <br />DEIRDRE H.
