R-93-06 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE <br />CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF PROVIDING LATCHKEY CHILDCARE <br />SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has made available a contract in the amount of <br />$452,539 for the Childcare Division of the Community Services Department, for the purpose <br />of providing latchkey childcare services in the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton hereby authorizes entering into <br />Agreement CLTK-6073 with the State of California for the provision of latchkey childcare <br />services in the City of Colton, in the contract amount of $452,539; and <br />SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign any documents to <br />effectuate this agreement. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1St day of August, 2006. <br />DEIRDRE H.
