CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of JULY 19, 1988 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: JENNIFER THORNBERRY, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: BID OPENING FOR RICH DAUER PARK RESTROOM PROJECT Date: JULY 7, 1988 <br />On June 9 & 16, 1988, the City advertised for bids for the construction of a <br />restroom facility: to be located at Rich Dauer Park. <br />Discussion <br />Bid opening was held on Wednesday, July 6, 1988 at 9:30 A.M. Present at the bid <br />opening were Ken Peterson, General Services Manager and Brian Oulman, Assistant <br />Planner. <br />We received one bid for the project. The bid was from Wyatt Construction, located <br />in San Bernardino. The lump sum bid price was $78,905.00, which is well over the <br />architect's estimate of $50;,000. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that Council -reject the bid and authorize staff to re -bid the <br />project. <br />
