Hutton, Director of Public MrksG` SUBJECT: Approval of Agreement with Matich Corp. to install Date: May 10, 1988 Curb and Gutter along South La Cadena Dr., and Authorize Allocation of funds in the Amount of $15,000 for said Improvements As part of the beautification of South La Cadena Dr., several major property owners have expressed their interest in installing curb and gutter improve- ments along their property frontage if the City would also improve its portion. The area proposed for improvements is South La Cadena Dr. from Fogg St,. south to the Santa Ana River bridge; the City being the property owner along the east side (Linear Park) and Matich Corp., Country Club Storage, Henagon Unlimited' and Rancho Ready Mix being the owners along the west side. The property owners along the west side, of South La Cadena Ur. have agreed to have Matich Corp. ' install their curb improvements concurrently as Matich Corp. installs its own. It would be to the City's advantage to have the curb and gutter improwwnts installed along its portion at the same time by Matich Corp. Matich Corp. has agreed to do the work in the amount of $15,000.
