On October 24, 1988, we had received
five proposals which were reviewed by personnel from General Services
and the Detective Division of the Police Department.
The proposals for providing and installing the material for the work-
stations ranged in price from $12,483.62 to $23,164.39. A Bid Analysis
is attached showing all of the prices with the recommended vendor's
price underlined.
Stockwell &.Pinney not only had the lowest -and best proposal,—they also
have a current contract for this material with San Bernardino County.
Staff feels that it is in the best interest of the City to use the San
Bernardino County contract for this requirement.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that we contract with Stockwell &
Binney for t e Modular Workstations in the amount of $12,483.62.
Report prepared by K.L.
