Keane, Assistant City Manager <br />SUBJECT:, Award of Bid for One (1), Two -door, Sedan for the <br />Detective Division, Police Department to El Monte <br />Motor Co. in the Amount of $11,909.10. <br />Date: September 22, 1988 <br />On September 8, 1988, we advertised for quotations on a two -door sedan <br />for the Detective Division of the Police Department. Bid opening was <br />held at 2:00 P.M., September 21, 1988 in the General Services Office. <br />There were three responses to our advertisement -for this requirement, <br />one of which was a No Bid. A Bid Analysis is attached showing prices and <br />delivery of the two good bids. The recommended vendor's price is <br />underlined. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made to El Monte <br />Motor Co. in the amount of $11,909.10. <br />Report prepared by K.L.
