CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of April 17. 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Jerry Young, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Air Conditioner for the Date: April 6, 1990 <br />Police Department to Clements Heating -Air <br />Conditioning in the Amount of $12,164.00. <br />On March 1, 1990, we advertised for quotations on air <br />conditioning for the Police Department. This is a <br />replacement unit which covers the Detective Division. <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., March 13, 1990 in the <br />General Services office. There was only one bid received <br />on this requirement. The amount bid was $12,164.00 which <br />is comparable to informal quotations previously received. <br />Time of completion is 30 days after receipt of order. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made <br />to Clements Heating -Air Conditioning in the amount of <br />$12,164.00. <br />Report prepared by K.
