CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of FEBRUARY 6, 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Leslie A. Keane, City Manage <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Warehouse Shelving for <br />New Corp. Yard to Patton Sales Corporation <br />in the Amount of 520,607.18. <br />Date: January 30, 1990 <br />On January 11, 1990, we advertised for quotations on warehouse <br />shelving for General Services, City Clerk and the Auto Shop for <br />the new corporate yard. Bid opening was held at 2:00 P.M., January <br />29, 1990 in the General Services office. Four responses were <br />received but, -two did not contain the required bid security and <br />one was a "No Bid". <br />The one good bid we received contained prices lower than we pro- <br />jected for the shelving. A Bid Analysis form is attached showing <br />prices on the separate items. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made to Patton <br />Sales Corporation in the amount of $20,607.18. <br />Report prepared by K.
