1 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of July 3, 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Gale A. Drews, Electric Utility Director <br />SUBJECT: LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR ELECTRIC LINE Date: June 25, 1990 <br />CROSSING ACROSS RAILWAY TRACKS ON FOGG <br />STREET <br />BACKGROUND <br />Whenever the Department has to upgrade one of its overhead lines that crosses <br />railway tracks, an approval from the respective railway company is required. <br />The Department has an existing #6 copper wire overhead line crossing the <br />railway tracks on Fogg Street. <br />STATEMENT OF PROBLEM <br />The Department built a new circuit (Congress) and extended it to Fogg Street. <br />To provide a loop with the existing circuit (Rancho), the existing copper wire <br />needs to be upgraded to 336.4 MCM ACSR. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Stephen Edwards, City Attorney, reviewed and approved the license agreement <br />wording. It is on file in the City Clerk's office for review.
