Gonzales ,6_44 <br />SUBJECT: HR 4343 (Matsui) and S 2097 (Pell) <br />Retraining of Civilians <br />Date: <br />The Board of Supervisors has requested cities and communities to adopt a <br />resolution supporting Federal Bills HR 4343 and S 2097 relative to the <br />retraining of civilians who have lost their jobs due to military base <br />closures. <br />At this time, I would recommend that the City of Colton adopt the attached <br />resolution supporting HR 4343 and S 2097. <br />Also, that a copy of this resolution be mailed to San Bernardino County <br />Supervisor Robert L.
