YOUNG, City Manager\/ <br />SUBJECT: Bid Award for Various Vehicles to Inland Date: February 26, <br />Motors in the Amount of $14,749.63 and to <br />Tom Bell Chevrolet in the Amount of $14,333.20 <br />On February 15, 1990, we advertised for quotations for one new 4 x 4 <br />vehicle for the Water Division and one new 3/4 Ton Pick-up for the <br />Electric Department. Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., February 26, <br />1990, in the General Services office. <br />Five bids were received and a Bid Analysis is attached for your review <br />showing price and delivery. The recommended vendor's price is under- <br />lined. <br />199( <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends bid award for the compact 4 x 4 vehicle <br />to Tom Bell Chevrolet in the amount of $14,333.20 and for the 3/4 ton <br />pick-up with utility body to Inland Motors in the amount of $14,749.63. <br />Report Prepared by: M.
