CITY- OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPOK . <br />20 March 19' <br />For Council Meeting of <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Jai R. g a, Director of Community Development <br />SUBJECT: i Iona t llocations for the Date: March 20, 195 <br />1990-1991 C nity Development <br />Block Grant Program <br />BACKGROUND <br />At the City Council meeting of 6 March 1990, Council <br />set the Public Hearing for the prioritization of <br />additional CDBG project proposals to this meeting. <br />Colton was previously allocated $170,000 in CDBG funds <br />from the San Bernardino County Dept. of Economic and <br />Community Development (ECD) per Colton's Cooperating <br />Cities Agreement with the County. At the City Council <br />meeting of February 20, 1990, Council approved a <br />project funding mix, utilizing the 51701000.00. <br />The following list of additional projects have been <br />preapproved by the County ECD as eligible for CDBG <br />funding. Staff recommends funding consideration of the <br />following projects and CDBG allocations: <br />la. <br />Transfer out of Contingency - <br />$25,000.00 <br />1b. <br />Transfer into Colton Museum <br />Renovation (a portion of the <br />final phase) — <br />$25,000.00 <br />2a. <br />Transfer out of South La <br />Cadena Beautification — <br />$50,000.00 <br />2b. <br />Transfer into South La Cadena <br />Facade Program — <br />$50,000.00 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />If Council concurs with Staff's recommendation, a <br />motion to adopt the priority list of additional <br />projects and CDBG allocations s in order. <br />CITY MANAGER CONCURRENCE <br />Attachments: <br />Page t of <br />nmemmi- <br />CENTRAL RECORD&n Nom_ <br />�ti.
