Drews, Electric Utility Director <br />SUBJECT: Easements at Cooley Plaza <br />Date:October 10, 1990 <br />BACKGROUND: The Department extended the electric lines from <br />our main line on Cooley Drive to provide electric services to <br />individual buildings of Cooley Plaza project and made a back- <br />up feed from Washington Street. This line runs on the back side <br />of the buildings along Reche Canyon channel. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: Pacific Summit Development Company <br />informed us that Stater Brothers Markets and Thrifty Drug Store <br />own their part of the property. Due to division of the property, <br />the Department intends to have an easement as a legal right to <br />serve all three properties from the main line. <br />ALTERNATIVES: None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: None <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends Council approval of the attached <br />Grant Deeds for the Electric Utility easements. <br />ORIGIN to <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />Item No. 17 <br />
