CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of October 16, 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: John C. Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Vacation of "J" Street <br />RAC MPI( i M <br />Date: October 9, 1990 <br />On September 18, 1990 Council set a public hearing to hear protests to the vacation <br />of a portion of "J" Street. The portion of "J" Street to be vacated is located north <br />of I-10 Freeway between 2nd and 3rd Streets. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />The developers of the land next to "J" Street are requesting the vacation for <br />development of their apartment complex. The area will be maintained and landscaped <br />by the developer. The following conditions will apply to the vacation: <br />1. The utility easements shall be retained. <br />2.
