CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of September 4, 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: EDMUND F. SOTELO, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Bid Award for Various Kearney Products to Date: August 29, 1990 <br />Maydwell & Hartzell in the Amount of $9,757.92 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City's Electric Stores carries various Kearney Products, such as <br />connectors, cutouts, etc., for use on an as need basis by the Electric <br />Department. The City's Electrical Engineer reviews these inventory <br />items periodically and projects the usage for the next several months. <br />On August 9, 1990, General Services advertised for sealed bids for these <br />requirements. Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., August 21, 1990, in <br />the General Services office. One bid was received from Maydwell & Hartzell <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM <br />None <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />None, funds are available. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award to Maydwell & Hartzell in the amount of <br />$9,757.92. <br />Report Prepared by: Mary Scribner, Buyer <br />Attachments: None <br />Page 1 of— -l— Item No. <br />
