Drews, Electric Utility Director <br />SUBJECT: ELECTRIC UTILITY EASEMENT AT SOUTHEAST Date: 8/28/90 <br />CORNER OF LA CADENA DRIVE AND 'E' STREET <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City intends to put electric services underground at the southeast <br />corner of La Cadena Drive and 'E' Street. Jean Joseph Irola owns Lots <br />11 through 16. <br />STATEMENT OF PROBLEM <br />If these lots are split in the future, the City would have to reroute <br />the services to keep electric lines within the right-of-way of the new <br />owner(s). <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Jean Joseph Irola, owner of Lots 11 through 16, has agreed to provide an <br />electric utility easement if the City bears the cost to convert the <br />overhead services to underground. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends Council approval of the attached Grant Deed for the <br />electric utility easement. <br />City Manager's Concurrence: •..,•, , 'y <br />Attachments: Copy of Grant Deed ORIGINAL <br />RECORDS,, <br />Page 1 of 1 FILE _ -0 2...............�..� <br />Item No. <br />
