SOTELO, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Office Furniture for the <br />Hutton & Luque Centers to McMahan's Business <br />Furniture in the Amount of $10,419.88. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Date: September 10, 199( <br />At the Council Meeting of July 17, 1990, the City Council approved an <br />appropriation of $24,000.00 for the purchase of furnishings and equip- <br />ment for the Hutton & Luque Centers. <br />On August 23, 1990, General Services advertised for sealed bids for <br />the office furniture for both centers. Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., <br />September 4, 1990, in the General Services office. Three bids were <br />received and evaluated. <br />STATMENT OF THE PROBLEM <br />None <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />A Bid Analysis is attached for your review showing the price and de- <br />livery for each vendor. The recommended vendor's price is underlined - <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />None. Funds are available. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award to McMahan's Business Furniture in the <br />amount of $10,419.88. <br />Report Prepared By: Mary J.
