CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of March 12, 1991 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM:Stephen Edwards, City Attorney <br />SUBJECT: <br />D a t e : Feb. 26, 1991 <br />Resolution approving execution of "Stipulation for Entry of <br />Judgement" in Inland Vallev Development AQenry khnnl rasa <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Inland Valley Development Agency (IVDA) is a parry to several lawsuits. Included are lawsuits <br />filed by San Bernardino Unified School District and by the County Superintendent of Schools (the <br />school cases). The school cases have been settled to the satisfaction of IVDA. The settlement <br />has been approved by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. The settlement <br />establishes that IVDA properly complied with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and <br />the Community Redevelopment Law. It validates IVDA's compliance with all laws and <br />regulations. Also, the settlement provides that each party pays its own attorney's fees and costs. <br />The settlement is described in detail in the attached documents.
