CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of October 1, 1991 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Gordon Johnson, Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: AUTHORITY - WORKERS' COMPENSATION Date: Sept. 9, 1991 <br />The Personnel Department has no settlement authority for workers' compensation <br />claims. The submission of claims, on a regular basis, to the City Council is <br />time-consuming and unnecessary, due to the state mandated "Disability Rating Bureau". <br />The rating bureau computes the fees for all non -litigated cases from the disability <br />rating schedule.
