Edwards, City Attorney <br />SUBJECT: Recommendation of Civil Service Board Date: 8/27/91 <br />On Appeal Of Gary G. Bouchez <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Civil Service Board has made written Findings of Fact, Conclusions <br />and Recommendations in the matter of the appeal of Gary G. Bouchez which <br />are Certified to the City Council and attached to this report. <br />Gary G. Bouchez, a City employee, was suspended without pay for thirty <br />(30) days. The action was taken by me on June 21, 1991, at which time I <br />was the City Manager. Mr. Bouchez appealed to the Civil Service Board <br />from my action. The Civil Service Board recommends that the suspension <br />be sustained (page 8, lines 23-24). <br />I affirm the action taken by me and concur in the recommendation. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is recommended that the City Council affirm the action taken <br />suspending Gary G.
