ACEVEDO, Finance Directo <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Wood Poles and Crossarms Date: August 29, 1991 <br />to North Pacific Lumber Co. in the Amount of <br />$11,262.57 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Wood poles and crossarms are carried in the Electric Stores inventory <br />to be used by the Electric Department on an as required basis. When <br />a pre-set review point is reached, or a specific job is scheduled, <br />the Storekeeper submits a requisition for the quantities needed. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On August 15, 1991, General Services advertised for sealed bids for <br />this requirement. Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., August 27, 1991, <br />in the General Services office. Four bids were received and a Bid <br />Analysis is attached showing price and delivery for each vendor. <br />The recommended vendor's price is underlined for each item. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award to North Pacific Lumber Co. in the Amount <br />of $11,262.57. <br />Report Prepared by: Mary J.
