Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Annexations No. 55, 56 and 57 into Date: June 4, 1992 <br />the City's Landscape Maintenance District <br />VAT81 NOVXIILIIBM <br />The Council has previously approved the formation of a Landscape Maintenance District. <br />Properties within certain Benefit Zones may be annexed into the District. <br />nTSC:1ISS TON: <br />Attached are the "Consent and Waiver to Annexation" from the owners of properties <br />within such a Benefit Zone. The property owners are requesting annexation into the <br />City's Landscape Maintenance District. Under the provisions of the Landscaping and <br />Lighting Act of 1972, a single property owner can request annexation into a Landscape <br />District, waiving any public hearings. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Areas within the District are maintained with fees collected by the County Tax <br />Collector. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECCNNIENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve Annexations No. 55, 56 and 57 into the City's <br />Landscape Maintenance District. <br />/lj 14�14 <br />CITY M* AGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: 1 <br />Page 1 of <br />Item No. Az <br />
