Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Resolution Adopting the Five Year Date: June 4, 1992 <br />Capital Improvement Program and Twenty Year <br />Transportation Plan <br />e9 N eA6, 1 0 <br />As part of the County wide Measure I sales tax initiative requires an annual update <br />of the local jurisdiction's priority street improvement program based upon a five <br />year and twenty year priority list. <br />IS T SCl N'; T ON : <br />The City of Colton recently approved and adopted a Resolution requesting an advance <br />of local Measure I pass through funds that would enable the City to proceed with <br />a major local street rehabilitation program identified as the City's "Paving the <br />Way to the Future" capital improvement program. <br />In addition to these pass through funds, the Measure I initiative also identified <br />main arterials, State highways and freeways under a twenty year plan with an <br />additional set aside Measure I funding source. In addition to the pass through funds <br />and based upon a priority competitive program. Since the City of Colton has already <br />requested by previous action, an advancement of pass through funds for its local <br />CIP, staff would offer the attached Exhibit "A" list as its twenty year list for <br />arterial funding of projects not under the five year CIP listing of projects for <br />advanced funding. <br />RECC"AENDATION: <br />Staff recorrmends that Council approve the attached Resolution adopting the five year <br />and twenty year CIP transportation plan. <br />JCH/lj <br />CITY M4NAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: 1 <br />Page I of <br />Item No. <br />CZ4— <br />
