Hutton, Director of Public 2014 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Change Order #2 for Emergency Well <br />Repair to Well #14 in the Amount of $12,438.73 <br />lOIBY <br />Date : March 10, 1992 <br />On November 5, 1991 Council approved emergency repairs to Well #14 in the amount <br />of $24,926.00 and on January 7, 1992 approved change order #1 in the amount of <br />$2,350.00 for video logging and removal of an obstruction. <br />n T SCl 1SS T ON : <br />Tri County Equipment and Repair has since completed the work approved by Council. <br />However, during test pumping of the Well, it was determined that the bowls are <br />in need of replacement. If the Well is placed back into service without replacing <br />the bowls it will be down within 6 months and the bowls will need to be replaced <br />then. <br />The hot weather season will begin within 2 months and this Well will need to be <br />in operation in order to meet the water demand for the summer.
