SOTO, <br />PRINCIPAL PLANNER <br />BACKGROUND <br />Personnel Rule IX, Section 6, states, "The City Council may, by a four-fifths vote, extend beyond six months, <br />the period for provisional appointment. " David R. Zamora, Community Development Director has requested <br />that Council extend the provisional appointment of Andres L. Soto, Principal Planner for six months until the <br />recruitment process for this position is completed. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />This position is funded in the FY 94-95 Budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />It is staff's recommendation that the City Council approve an extension of the provisional appointment for <br />Andres L.
