CITY OF COLTON <br />`�aorv0rate ,Z <br />a <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />I f oi� <br />For Council Meeting of October 4, 1994 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: September 27, 1994 <br />FROM: JOHN HUTTON <br />Public Works Director <br />V*_ <br />SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF AN AGREEMENT TO CONSTRUCT FUTURE ALLEY OFF-SITE <br />IMPROVEMENTS - SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENT PROJECT - LOCATED AT 428 E. <br />"N" STREET - STEVE GOLD <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Single family residence located at 428 E. "N" Street, as part of their <br />requirements to develop was condition to provide the off-site improvements. <br />Mr. Steve Gold has submitted a request to Public Works to defer the alley <br />improvements, since no alley improvements exist and his project site is <br />located near the middle of the existing alley. <br />Staff has reviewed site conditions and concurs that installation of <br />improvements would be impractical at this time. <br />SUMMARY: <br />To satisfy the conditions of approval and to meet the request of the <br />applicant in deferring the alley improvements, staff is requesting the use of <br />an agreement to construct off-site improvement as the vehicle to meet these <br />requirements (see attached document recommendation). <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept and approve the agreement to <br />construct off-site improvements for the alley and authorize the City Clerk to <br />execute the recording of the dQg]Ment. _ <br />City Manager's Concurrence: <br />Report prepared by James King <br />B:GOLDAG <br />
