161 Mr. Huffaker advised the lease and assignments have been reviewed and approved by our City Attorney. Moved by Councilwoman Spragins, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to authorize Mayor to execute lease agreement with Time Brokers, Inc., for in-house computer system. Vote was unanimous. CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Claim Bertha A. Gomez Moved by Councilwoman Spragins, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to reject the claim of Bertha A. Gomez versus the City of Colton, and refer to the insurance carrier. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Zoning Mr. D. M. Adamo Mr. D. M. Adamo, of ABC Appliances, spoke to the Council members in opposition to the pending zone change. Mr. Adamo was instructed to attend the public hearing to be held on May 6, 1975, and make his comments at that time. Boards & Commissions Bicentennial Committee Councilman Rehrer requested permission from the City Council to attend two conferences on behalf of the BiCenten- nia 1 Committee. On motion of Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins, Council approved the request of Councilman Rehrer to attend the Bicentennial Committee conferences. Motion carried, Councilman Rehrer abstained. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Personnel Council members adjourned to Executive Session at 8:16 p.m. , requested by the City Manager, on Personnel matters and Pending Litigation, and reconvened at 8:25 p.m. , all members present. PUBLIC HEARING: Weed Abatement TIME AND PLACE FIXED FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON WEED ABATEMENT Mayor Huntoon declared -the public hearing open. Assistant City Attorney Edwards recommended the public hearing be continued to an Adjourned Regular Meeting, to be held on Monday, April 21, 1975, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins, to continue the public hearing to the time and place as specified by the Assistant City Attorney. Vote was unanimous .
