Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />4584 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ESTABLISHING A PAY AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN <br />FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF COLTON, EFFECTIVE <br />JANUARY 1, 1985. <br />Resolution No. 4585 <br />City Attorney Edwards presented Resolution No. 4585 for Council's con- <br />sideration and approval, relating to employee benefits. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Resolution.No. 4585. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4585 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AS TO EMPLOYMENT MATTERS. <br />Fireworks Permits <br />Q City Attorney Edwards read portions, from the Colton Municipal Code, <br />(D from Chapter 6.32, Section 6.32.040, regarding the license and sale <br />Lo of fireworks. <br />0 Mr. Edwards recommended that Staff conduct a survey and investigation <br />CO of the applicants, and organizations that were drawn for this year. <br />Q Mr. Edwards stated possibly Mr. Mosqueda's League would have an oppor- <br />tunity to obtain a permit, by means of disqualification of one of the <br />other organizations. <br />After additional discussion, Mr. Mosqueda was asked to contact the <br />City Manager's Office within the next few days to discuss this matter. <br />Mrs. Yolanda Lopez, 789 West F Street, Colton, stated she was very <br />0Mhappy to see, by Item No. 7 on the Consent Calendar, that the City <br />41 <br />Council has approved Enterprise Zoning, which is something she has <br />been very concerned about. Mrs. Lopez stated she is a member of the <br />Legislative Action Committee of the Chamber of Commerce, and she would <br />appreciate the Council keeping their Committee advised of any further <br />action in this regard. <br />Mr. Gene Stubblefield, Area Manager for the Southern California Edison <br />Company, introduced himself to the Council Members, saying he looked <br />forward to working with the City of Colton in the future. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded Councilman Rios and unanimous- <br />ly passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 9:15 p. m. <br />A 1E �i1.
