281 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 2, 1986 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor <br />Gonzales. Also present were City Attorney Edwards and City Clerk <br />Ramos. Absent was City Manager Benest. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Mayor Gonzales stated he would like to recommend that Item No. 4, under <br />the Consent Calendar, concerning expenditure of Park Development Fees <br />in conjunction with the four-year Park Development Plan, be removed from <br />(D the Consent Calendar and considered after the Parks & Recreation Commis- <br />sion have had an opportunity to review and study this. Mayor Gonzales <br />0 said he would like, however, to approve the lighting for the parks at <br />Go this time. <br />Q Electric Utility Director Gale Drews advised that the park lighting de- <br />sign has been completed and they have put in the conduit and bases at <br />Municipal and Veterans Parks. Mr. Drews stated they have been working <br />with Public Works on this project. <br />Public Works Director John Hutton stated that the lighting improvements <br />for the parks and funding was approved several weeks ago, and the work <br />has commenced, as outlined by Mr. Drews. <br />Councilwoman Garcia stated in lieu of the information provided by Staff, <br />there would be no need to consider the parks lighting at this time; de- <br />lete Item No. 4 and reconsider this matter after the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission have completed their review and made recommendations. <br />(1) Minutes <br />November 18, 1986 <br />November 25, 1986 <br />(2) Warrants <br />55205 through 55476, 128509 through 128778, (November 26, <br />1986) inclusive, as recommended by the Director of Finance. <br />(3) Parks/Grants <br />Approval of application for Grant Funds under the Community <br />Parklands Act of 1986, RESOLUTION NO. R-170-86. <br />�(4) Parks <br />Approval of RESOLUTION NO. R-171-86, authorizing expenditure <br />of Park Development Fees according to four-year Park Develop- <br />ment Plan. (Removed from the Consent Calendar) <br />(5) Tracts <br />Accept Tract No. 12960 for recordation. <br />(6) Notice of Completion <br />Accept Valley Boulevard/Pepper Avenue Traffic Signals, City <br />Project #83-5, as 100% complete and authorize filing the <br />Notice of Completion. <br />(7) Streets <br />Limit truck access on Reche Canyon Road, RESOLUTION NO.
