RAMOS, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />Approved this 18th day of November, 1986. <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 18, 1986 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />Mayor Huntoon led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Father Rosales, San Salvador Catholic Church. <br />RnT.T. rAT.T. <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor <br />Huntoon. Also present were City Manager Benest, City Attorney Edwards, <br />and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CANVASS OF ELECTION! <br />City Attorney Edwards presented RESOLUTION NO. R -164 -86 -for considerat <br />and approval, declaring the results of the General Municipal Election <br />held in the City of Colton on November 4, 1986, and the canvass of thatV <br />election conducted by the Registrar of Voters. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-164-86. Unanimous vote. <br />0 <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-164-86 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF THE <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON <br />NOVEMBER 4, 1986, DECLARING THE RESULT THEREOF <br />AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY THE <br />PROVISIONS OF LAW. <br />Presentations <br />Councilman Rehrer presented a plaque to Mayor Huntoon honoring him for <br />his many years of service as Mayor of the City of Colton. <br />Councilwoman Garcia presented plaques to Councilwoman Cisneros and <br />Councilman Rios, honoring both Council Members for their years of <br />service. <br />Bouquets of flowers were presented to Mrs. Lee Gonzales and Mrs. Pauli <br />Huntoon. <br />Mayor Huntoon said he would like to thank all of the City Staff members, <br />city employees, and citizens that assisted him during his years as Mayor. <br />Mayor Huntoon said he would also like to thank the members of his com- <br />mittee for their hard work, and his wife, Pauline, who has always been <br />very supportive. Mayor Huntoon concluded he felt he had accomplished <br />some very positive things during his term, and he was hopeful that Colton <br />would continue to prosper. <br />Nov 18 1Q%WQ6 <br />
