<br />JANUARY 3, 1989
<br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held
<br />on the above given date at 7:43 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City
<br />Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding.
<br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

<br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Lofy, and Mayor
<br />Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Benest, City Attorney Edwards,
<br />and City Clerk Ramos.

<br />Award of Contract for Playground Equipment, and Adjustment of
<br />1988-89 Budget.
<br />(7) Proposal
<br />Adoption of RESOLUTION NO. R-1-89, approving the submission of
<br />a Proposal by the City of Colton under the California Wildlife
<br />Coastal and Parkland Conservation Bond Act of 1988.
<br />(8) Electric
<br />Southern California Edison Company Refund for the 1986 Tax Re-
<br />form Act Settlement Agreement amond Edison and its Resale
<br />Customers.
<br />(9) Contracts/Bids
<br />Award of Contracts for Asphalt, PW89-1, Holiday Rock Company,
<br />$167,114.25; Cement, PW89-2, Holiday Rock Company, $111,552;,
<br />for the period from January 1, 1989 to June 30, 1990.
<br />(10) Annexations
<br />Redistribution of Taxes for Annexation South 46, LAFCO No. 2513,
<br />RESOLUTION NO. R-2-89.
<br />(11) Claims
<br />Pacific Bell vs. City of Colton. Recommend denial.
<br />City Manager Benest advised the City just received today material from
<br />the County indicating the actual split and amount of property tax rev-
<br />enues to be exchanged between the local agencies effected by Annexation
<br />South 46, and this material is a part of Item No. 10 on the Consent
<br />Calendar.
