CITY OF COLTON CLOSED SESSION - COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY NOVEMBER 6, 2007 Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:03 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil presiding. CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were, Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil, Mitchell, Oliva, and Yzaguirre. Mayor Chastain and CM De La Rosa absent. City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss item A and B. CLOSED SESSION: A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(a) Case Name: City of Colton v. American Promotional Events, Inc. - West, et al. Case Number: US District Court Case No. CV 05-01479 DDP(Ex) B. REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATIONS Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.8 Property: 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue - APN 0160-132-54-0000 Agency Negotiator: Jeannette Olko, Electric Utility Director Negotiating Party: Mark Moss, property owner Under negotiation: Price and terms of payment Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:04 p.m. and at 6:07 p.m.; the meeting reconvened with Mayor Chastain absent. City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on items A and B and will return to closed session after the regular council meeting to discuss Item C. A.
