CITY OF COLTON <br />CLOSED SESSION — REGULAR COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON <br />UTILITY AUTHORITY CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 1, 2008 <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:01 p.m., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, CM Suchil, Oliva, Yzaguirre, Toro (arrived at 5:03 p.m.) and <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell. <br />Absent: CM De La Rosa and Mayor Chastain <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />None. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />items A and B. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 <br />Agency Representative: Anthony Arroyo, Human Resources Director <br />Employee Organizations: Police Management Association, <br />IBEW Electric & IBEW Water[Wastewater <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(a) <br />Case Name: Colton Police Officers Association v. City of Colton <br />Case Number: San Bernardino County Superior Court Case No. CIVSS 805003 <br />Mayor ProTempore Mitchell adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:02 p.m. and at 6:05 <br />p.m.; the meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on <br />the items previously announced with no reportable action on Item A and B. <br />A.
